How You’ll Make an Impact

• Independently determine and develop solution approaches to meet customer requirements and solve problems under general direction.
• Understand and comply with company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the work permit system.
• Maintain a safe site and safe working practices.
• Attend general safety and toolbox safety meetings and suggest safety improvements.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Carry out all maintenance activities in accordance with company policies, manufacturer recommendations, and industry best practices.
• Possess basic knowledge and hands-on experience in maintenance methods for equipment associated with primary packaging.
• Recognize abnormal sounds, vibrations, and potential safety issues at early stages and take appropriate preventive action.
• Provide timely daily reports to relevant managers on ongoing projects and routine work.
• Track pending work and required personnel to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Ensure necessary spare parts are available and submit material requisitions when required.
• Maintain accurate feedback and communication using pre-planned reporting formats.
• Update equipment histories to forecast utilization and efficiency effectively.
• Coordinate operational changes to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime through effective communication and reporting to supervisors and customer representatives.
• Apply sound judgment when analyzing and resolving problems.
• Solve problems independently or with minimal supervision in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Master procedures for identifying reliable sources of technical information and advice, using adequate product knowledge to repair minor electrical components/systems and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Plan short- to medium-term schedules for personnel and materials to support routine maintenance and plant commissioning.
• Engage operational teams to release equipment in a timely manner for maintenance and provide technical support when workloads exceed staffing levels.
• Monitor maintenance services and installation support to ensure completion in compliance with company policy, manufacturer guidelines, and safety standards.
• Ensure major maintenance interventions are planned and executed on schedule within approved commercial orders.

What You Bring

• Verifiable 8+ years of experience working on gas turbine and advanced control systems in a related industry.

• Advanced computer software expertise and electronic hardware handling proficiency.

• Experience working on recognized gas turbine product lines or long-term service as a gas turbine controls engineer.

• Technical qualification such as an Engineering degree, preferably in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

• Experience in an onshore/offshore environment is essential.

• Deep background knowledge of rotating equipment packages is an asset.

• Familiarity with gas turbine engine theory, package systems theory, and operational principles is an asset.
