Your Job Description

  • Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
  • Quantity Take-Offs: Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contract documentation, including contract agreements, variations, and claims.
  • Commercial Management: Provide expert advice on commercial and contractual matters, including tendering, procurement, and contract negotiations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities related to project costs and contracts.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.

The Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Quantity Surveying
  • Professional qualification in RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent professional qualification is desirable
  • A minimum 3–5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on FMCG and Steel Construction sectors
  • Experience within mechanical engineering sector
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software, such as CostX, PlanSwift, or similar
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide expert advice
