The Project Architect will be responsible for carrying out project assessments to identify the requirement of project sponsors and provide details of drawing/building plans that translate to a safe, aesthetic, and comfortable habitation. This role will involve collaboration with other professionals such as civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and service engineers and Quantity Surveyor to develop and implement feasible, safe, and legally approved structures. The architect will also provide support to the project management team for effective project controls by liaison with Virtual Project Office, Bids and Contract management team and other business functions including Operations, Finance, Procurement, Legal & Compliance, EHSSQ as may be required.
Job Details
Adopting the right technology (CAD) in line with organizational strategy to develop project construction documents.
Develop project documents and project strategies in alignment with Ardova Plc's business objectives.
Carry out assessments to identify construction project requirements of the sponsors and discuss with them to understand project objectives, preferences, location, and budget.
Ensure projects are executed in accordance with approved plans, budgets, and schedules.
Provide technical support to the project team for effective site surveys, technical reports generation, and documentation of field data on all assigned projects and deliver presentations to sponsors.
Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and take corrective action on all assigned projects.
Ensure all assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Ensure project material specification aligns with organizational acceptable standards.
Requirements
Education
A degree or its equivalent with a minimum of a 2.2 in Architecture.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience
5-7 years of relevant experience in a relevant role.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and construction documentation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client management skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Knowledge of sustainable design practices is an advantage.
