Your Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Ensure effective and efficient coordination of production operations to meet and deliver volume targets by due dates, maintaining specific quality standards as required by marketing plans.
Ensure maintenance programs are carried out promptly, ensuring continuous availability of equipment and machinery, and compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment management.
Prepare reports (daily production, forecasts, and plant compliance) to account for monthly variances and confirm the monthly production plan.
Manage team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitor objectives, and ensure development needs are identified and addressed.
Take responsibility for compliance with all EMS-related activities in the department to prevent, reduce, or control environmental pollution arising from environmental aspects, as documented in the EMS Manual, Departmental Aspect and Impacts register, EMS-related SOPs, and other relevant documents.
Ensure adherence to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OH&SE) requirements.
Drive continuous improvement, communication, and employee relations within the department.

Required Qualifications

B.Sc./B.Eng. or HND in Engineering-related fields or Industrial Chemistry
Sound software knowledge and expertise
Sound AutoCAD software knowledge and expertise

Required Experience

At least 3–5 years’ work experience in a similar role with a large organization
Ability to withstand stress and pressure
Good eye for infrastructural, design, and engineering details
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Excellent planning and scheduling skills
Good communication skills
