The Dangote Cement Transport Obajana is looking for a skilled CNG Instrumentation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and control systems associated with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) facilities
Your Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems for CNG operations.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot a variety of measurement and control devices, including pressure, flow, and level instruments.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of CNG facilities.
- Document all maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and replacements.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate instrumentation systems with plant processes.
The Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Eng, HND, or ND in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Certification in instrumentation calibration or automation is a plus.
- 3–5 years experience in instrumentation maintenance.
- Experience with sensors, transmitters, gauges, and control systems.
- Experience in gas systems (CNG preferred).
- Calibration of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
