Your Job Description
Identify any discrepancies in customer and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) purchase orders and prepare internal corrections and permissions prior to external communication
Manage, update, and monitor the open orders spreadsheet
Maintain a record of all communication with OEMs and customers regarding all orders
Generate reports on purchase order progress, completion dates, and production challenges
Provide weekly updates to customers regarding their orders and estimated delivery dates
Track orders from placement through delivery
Pass relevant item information to the logistics manager and colleagues for processing
Inspect orders upon arrival to ensure the correct quantity and products are supplied
Update the goods inventory record
Accompany the delivery of goods to customer-designated warehouses within Nigeria
Prepare Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
The Job Requirements
Requirement:
HND / BSc Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
Familiar with engineering documentation.
Analytical and strategic thinking skills; advanced problem-solving skills.
Technical skills in the oil and gas industry; excellent attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; multi-tasking abilities.
Interpersonal skills; communication skills, both written and verbal.
