The role is to perform business development activities for Dutum’s Company’s oil and gas-related businesses, as well as work with the Company’s international business partner, AG&P Americas Inc., in the development of joint opportunities in Nigeria and possibly elsewhere

Job Summary
The preferred candidates will be required to perform the following functions:
Manage Dutum-AG&P’s Marketing team including opportunity identification, work processes, project tracking, and client relationships.
Through team resources, research and utilize oil and gas business trends to maximize sales effectiveness.
Build networks and solid relationships within the oil and gas, and marine sectors.
Develop a growth plan and strategy for expansion within the oil and gas and marine sectors.
Increase client base and represent Dutum and AG&P in sales and negotiations with stakeholders of potential clients.
Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions.
Create business proposals and estimates in collaboration with Dutum’s and AG&P’s senior leadership. Issue approved documents to clients and perform follow-ups as required.
Effectively identify and communicate Dutum / AG&P business strengths in relation to identified clients’ needs.
Develop further opportunities for growth.
Follow oil and gas industry trends locally and internationally, and advise the team on the impacts of and activities related to current trends.
The Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 5 years of Business Development experience in the construction and/or oil and gas industries.
Minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Excellent sales and networking skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Business intelligence, financial acumen, data analytical skills, and ability to develop and present information effectively and efficiently.
Project management skills.
Competence with the Office 365 suite of tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
