About the Job
The Procurement Team manages the centralized flow of goods and services through process optimization and effective collaboration across value streams, which is crucial in bridging the gap between patients and healthcare services.
The Senior Officer, Procurement functions by providing operational and administrative support through adherence to standard operating procedures for the seamless provision of goods and services towards effective delivery of healthcare services by the Clinic. The incumbent personnel of grade level BG5, communicates effortlessly and applies high attention to detail with time management skills to deliver at pace.
Your Job Description
PURPOSE
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of activities related to the movement and management of goods or services
Forecasting demand and supply, and ensuring that products or services are delivered to customers within specified timelines and quality standards
Complete documentation/inputs on key elements to execute transactions in the provision of services in the Warehouse
ENGAGEMENT
Responsible for conferring and coordinating with other departments regarding all procurement matters
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure orders are filled properly
Explain provision of service to ensure clarity and comprehension by client/recipient
Notify client/recipients of service regarding the delivery of the transaction/service
DELIVERY
Process and Sequence deliverables/services efficiently to support provision of unit services in line with service standards
Review and file vendor contracts, schedule deliveries and timely tracking of shipments
Maintains important documents, files, and records in an organized manner
Check delivered loads to ensure accurate inventory, receives and updates inventory

Targeted Specialized Knowledge
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management & Technology, Supply Chain or any management related field of study
A minimum of two (2) years experience
Post-NYSC experience is required
Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
Proven experience with task/project management tools (Asana is a distinct advantage)
Basic understanding of inventory management software or systems
