About the Job

We are seeking a goal-oriented and resourceful Business Development Executive to join our HR consulting and recruitment team in Ikeja. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients, strengthening existing relationships, and promoting our HR and staffing solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for business development and a working knowledge of the HR and recruitment industry.

Your Job Description

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in HR outsourcing, staffing, and recruitment.
  • Engage with decision-makers and key stakeholders in target companies to present and promote our services.
  • Generate and follow up on leads through cold calls, emails, referrals, and networking events.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through excellent service and consistent communication.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and presentations to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal recruiters to ensure successful client delivery and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities using CRM tools.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Achieve monthly business targets and contribute to company revenue goals.

The Job Requirements

  • Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or any related field.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management (preferably in HR/recruitment).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Knowledge of recruitment and HR outsourcing services is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM software.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
