The MFS Software Engineers (Backend) will be responsible for gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in majorly Java. Our ideal candidates will be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. Ultimately, the role of the MFS Software Engineer (Backend) is to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design
Your Job Description
Responsibilities
Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Write well-designed, testable code
Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Comply with project plans and industry standards
Ensure software is updated with the latest features
Conduct knowledge-sharing and training sessions with team members and other internal units
Ensure audit compliance on all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies
The Job Requirements
Education / Experience
B.Eng. / B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related degree or diploma.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Backend Engineer (Java).
Professional Qualifications
Linux and Windows System Administration training.
Microsoft SQL, MySQL, and Oracle database administration.
