Product Designer (UI/UX) (Remote) at Glade

We Are Looking for an Experienced Product Designer

We are seeking a passionate product designer with expertise in user-centred design. You must be familiar with UX processes and have experience creating data-driven design solutions. You will be responsible for all aspects of the design process, including workshops, ideation, user testing, and delivering UX/UI designs. You will collaborate with the engineering team to create engaging user experiences.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Previous experience in desktop, mobile web, and mobile app design.
  • Experience coordinating and running usability, focus group, and remote testing.
  • Ability to run ideation workshops with developers, stakeholders, and users.
  • Strong team-working, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to create detailed wireframes, storyboards, and user flows to effectively communicate ideas.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Sketch, Overflow, or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Proficiency in using design systems and component libraries.
  • Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Principle, or similar tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of design systems, including understanding of Abstract and design libraries (bonus).
  • Knowledge of motion design, including AfterEffects (bonus).

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience designing and shipping both web and mobile products and tools.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual and user experience design in similar products.
  • Experience with design software (we primarily use Figma).
  • Familiarity with design techniques (e.g., prototyping, wireframing).
  • Understanding of visual elements like layout, colors, typography, and fonts.
  • Teamwork skills and collaboration abilities.
  • A razor-sharp eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to think strategically about product design and articulate design decisions clearly.
