We are seeking a Server Operations Analyst to join our Information Technology team. The Server Operations Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and optimising our server infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our systems.
Your Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of server systems.
Manage server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
Ensure system availability and reliability by conducting routine inspections and implementing necessary upgrades.
Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve server-related issues.
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Maintain system security by implementing and monitoring appropriate access controls.
Create and maintain system documentation, including configuration management.
The Job Requirements
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in server operations or system administration.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of server hardware and software, including operating systems and virtualization technologies.
Experience with server monitoring and performance optimisation.
Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
