Job Title: Wix Velo Developer (Full-Stack)

Location: Fully Remote (Must be available for regular Zoom meetings and work closely with our UK-based team.)

About the Role

We are a UK-based awarding body with an experienced internal development team currently building a bespoke CRM system. We are now seeking a dedicated Wix Velo developer to join this team.

This role requires proven experience using Wix’s IDE (Velo) to build dynamic, database-driven solutions. As Velo is a JavaScript-based language, candidates must already be comfortable working within the Wix environment and fully understand the capabilities of Velo.

Key Responsibilities

Wix Velo Development

Build and enhance custom features using Wix Velo within our internal CRM system
Develop dynamic UI components including forms, repeaters, and custom interfaces
Ensure seamless, reliable database interactions throughout the platform

Workflow & Integration

Implement end-to-end workflows that handle data submissions and updates
Integrate Wix Payment solutions and ensure transactional integrity
Customise Wix apps—such as Wix Bookings—to suit specific operational needs

Collaboration & Communication

Collaborate closely with our UK-based team via Zoom and other remote tools
Maintain clear, proactive communication around tasks, progress, and issues

Project Ownership

Organise and prioritise your own workload to meet key milestones
Contribute strategically to the development process with feedback and ideas

Essential Skills & Experience

Advanced knowledge of Wix Velo (Wix’s JavaScript-based development environment)
Strong understanding of database structure and integration within Wix
Demonstrable experience building custom solutions in the Wix ecosystem
Ability to modify and extend Wix apps such as Bookings or Stores
Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills
Previous experience working remotely and collaborating with teams

Commitment

This is a full-time, exclusive position. Applicants must not be engaged in other employment or freelance work alongside this role.

Compensation

The role starts at £150/month (approximately ₦300,000 Naira) with the opportunity to rise to £300/month (approximately ₦600,000 Naira) for the right candidate based on performance and commitment.

We are looking for a serious, long-term team member who will grow with the role.
