The Talent Acquisition Officer will proactively identify and attract top-tier talent. Optimizing the recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, to enhance team capabilities, enrich our culture, and directly contribute to achieving our organizational objectives.
Your Job Description
PURPOSE
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles (entry-level to mid-senior positions)
Implement innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong candidate pipeline (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, social media, referrals, networking events)
Provide updates on market trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in recruitment
Screen resumes, conduct initial phone/video interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers
Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback
Support employer branding initiatives (e.g., career site content, social media campaigns)
ENGAGEMENT
Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, review job descriptions, and set realistic timelines in line with the recruitment strategy
Collaborate with People & Culture managers and hiring managers to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires
Participate in new hire orientation sessions as needed
Regularly update hiring managers on recruitment progress and candidate quality
Represent the company at career fairs, university events, and industry meetups
DELIVERY
Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate data
Assist in optimizing recruitment workflows to improve efficiency and time-to-hire
Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and employment laws
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in all hiring practices
Track and report on key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire, candidate satisfaction)

Targeted Specialized Knowledge
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment, either in-house or at an agency.
Proven experience with sourcing techniques and tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, etc.).
Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.

BG-4, Entry Level.
Remuneration
NGN 120,000 monthly gross.
