Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, forecasts, and growth opportunities.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
Financial Operations & Control
Manage accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk management systems.
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
Business Performance & Growth
Analyze business performance and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Support strategic initiatives, investments, and new business development.
Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency across departments.
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with external partners such as auditors, investors, regulators, and financial institutions.
Present financial results and reports to the Board and executive team.
Maintain transparent communication and reporting with stakeholders.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Job Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA) required.
Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and financial analysis.
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, risk management, and compliance.
Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience in [industry name, e.g., technology, manufacturing, financial services] is an advantage.
