The ideal candidate will support the Head of Finance in managing all finance-related activities, ensuring strong financial governance, effective planning, detailed reporting, and full compliance with accounting standards. This role is critical in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining effective financial controls across the organization.

Your Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide relevant financial insights to guide decision-making and business performance improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and all applicable financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Track financial performance against budget and highlight variances with recommended corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise members of the finance team to strengthen capability and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal control systems to minimize financial risks.
  • Support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and process optimization within the finance function.

The Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Recognized professional finance certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems—SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
