The Job Requirements

Qualifications

A first degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, economics, or a business-related discipline. (Essential)
Qualified (or student member at the final stage of qualification) with a recognised professional accounting body (ICAN, ACCA, CIMA). (Essential)

Experience and Technical Knowledge

Minimum of one (1) year of industry or consulting experience working in an accounting or finance-related position. (Essential)
Knowledge of accounting fundamentals, concepts, and conventions, as well as bookkeeping principles. (Essential)
Strong technical knowledge, understanding, application, and interpretation of relevant International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). (Essential)
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. (Essential)
Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems. (Essential)
Specific knowledge of key processes involved in the following areas: (Essential)
- Accounts receivable management and revenue recognition
- Accounts payable management and cost accounting
- Treasury operations
- Accounts preparation and consolidation
Good understanding of treasury and other financial management-related concepts. (Desirable)
