Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - Apapa at FLOUR MILLS OF NIGERIA

To maintain all Flour Mills Nigeria caterpillars under the guidance of the Heavy Equipment Supervisor in accordance with the standards.

Carry out proper and supervised maintenance on all Cranes to ensure that they are performing optimally.
Ensure that the workshop is kept clean in line with the company’s Health, Safety and Environment policy for effective output.
Report on all Crane repairs and maintenance activities to the Heavy Equipment Supervisor for reference purposes.
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and related components.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and brake inspections.
Inspect and test vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate repair solutions.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components used in industrial and automotive equipment.
Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered machines, including engines, pumps, and generators.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service diagrams, and mechanical schematics.
Strong adherence to safety procedures and good workshop practices in all repair and maintenance activities.
