What to expect:
Perform a wide range of microbiological tests including culture, sensitivity, and identification of pathogens.
Analyze specimens such as blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all laboratory policies, quality assurance, and safety standards.
Record and interpret results accurately and communicate findings to healthcare providers when necessary.
Participate in continuous education and training programs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
The Job Requirements
Essential education, experience and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).
Valid license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
Minimum of 3–5 years post-NYSC experience in a medical laboratory, with strong
expertise in Microbiology.
