A Housekeeping Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry with guest requests analyzing each request and delegating between the team members, so that work can be done in an efficient and timely manner ensuring an exceptional experience for our Guests.
Your Job Description
What will I be doing?
As Housekeeping Attendant, you will support all Housekeeping and Laundry team activities by
coordinating and delegating day-to-day operations within the hotel. Specifically, a
Housekeeping Attendant will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry,
in line with hotel brand standards.
Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team
Members, with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
Provide excellent guest service.
Actively manage room availability and release for Guest Service in collaboration with
Floor Housekeeping Supervision.
Manage Housekeeping departmental controls, including staff scheduling, release of master
keys, incident logging, and the input and output of uniforms and linen.
Review daily guest information in the CRM system and ensure guest preferences and
requests are met promptly.
Request flowers for special occasions (marriage, bereavement, maternity) and arrange
embroidery for special linen such as wedding and pampering items.
Control and manage monthly Lost and Found items and related donations.
Inspect uniforms and arrange for cleaning and/or repair as required.
Coordinate and control the flow of documents and personnel within the department.
Manage the daily release of guest clothing for those using the laundry service.
Prepare monthly closure of laundry expenses and related provisions.
Replace the Laundry Attendant during holidays, days off, or periods of absence.
