Our Client is seeking a responsible and experienced Staff Bus Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of staff
to and from various project sites and designated pick-up points. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills,
a good knowledge of Lagos roads, and a strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the staff bus along scheduled routes and ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of employees.
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and in good working condition at all times.
Monitor vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance schedules and report issues promptly.
Maintain a daily log of vehicle operations, fuel consumption, and mileage.
Follow traffic laws, safety procedures, and company transport policies at all times.
Assist staff with boarding and alighting, especially at crowded or challenging locations.
Coordinate with site supervisors for any route adjustments or additional trips as required.
Ensure that only authorized personnel are conveyed in the vehicle.
Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions immediately.
Comply with all safety standards, both company and government-regulated.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC certificate.
Valid Nigerian commercial driver’s license (Class E or above).
At least 3 years of professional driving experience (construction industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of Lagos routes, especially Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, and major project corridors.
Ability to drive a manual and automatic transmission bus.
Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Physically fit, with good vision and hearing.
Must provide verifiable references and pass a background check.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is an advantage.
Work Schedule
Monday to Saturday (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, depending on staff/site needs)
Overtime may be required occasionally.
