Where You Fit In?

The dimension covers support for delivery of deep-water brownfield and flagship projects, Bonga producing asset, non-operated venture projects and opportunity maturation (OMLs 118, 133 & OML 135). The Hardware and Systems Engineer is a key resource in the Subsea Engineering Discipline Organization.

What is the Role?

The Senior Subsea Hardware and System Engineer will be responsible for the Subsea Hardware and Systems Engineering scope ensuring timely completion of subsea hardware design, fabrication and installation tasks to the required quality and standards. The successful candidate will work in multi-discipline teams necessary to deliver various components of the subsea system to achieve compliance to Process Safety, HSSE and Quality standards.

  • Provide subsea engineering leadership, expertise, and assurance for Bonga FPSO and BNW Tie-Back.
  • Create demonstrable value by understanding customer drivers and success factors.
  • Work collaboratively across disciplines and P&T teams.
  • Deliver FEED and Detailed Designs and Operations Support.
  • Ensure design quality and inter-discipline reviews are conducted.
  • Contribute to execution strategies, risk reduction, and technology deployment.
  • Support commissioning, operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with industry groups and support engineering standards.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 7 in Subsea Hardware/System Engineering.
  • COREN Registered or in process.
  • TA3 Subsea certified or TA3 ready.
  • Strong knowledge of subsea equipment, tools, and industry codes.
  • Experience in Deepwater development and working in diverse environments.
  • Skilled in CAESAR II, Autopipe, ANSYS, or FEA software.
  • Strong HSE awareness and ability to meet milestones without compromising safety.
