Job Description
Job Summary
Manage/supervise all Real Estate projects, including special projects, and business-as-usual projects, including consolidation, relocation, and decommissioning projects.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, and close all phases of Real Estate projects.
- Manage Real Estate budgets, ensuring efficient commitment and capitalization.
- Assist in setting up Real Estate policies and procedures that facilitate quality delivery of assigned projects.
- Ensure delivery of projects by establishing project goals, processes, and performance standards. Describe and set key performance indicators (KPIs) to be applied in assessing project performance and delivery.
- Contribute ideas and solutions for reducing overhead expenses in meeting project budget objectives.
- Coordinate the project team and other stakeholders to achieve project milestones and adhere to the project schedule.
- Allocate project activities to team members and vendors for implementation. Constantly review project resource levels, capacities, progress, and performance.
- Monitor, report, and communicate project progress through periodic project review meetings with key stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate project performance gaps to be mitigated.
- Maintain and manage an issue log document on assigned project issues.
- Formulate and manage a change control process to ensure that projects are executed in line with mandates, specifications, and laid-down policies and procedures.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Landlord Relations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Real Estate Management, Business Management, or any related discipline.
- Advanced degree in any of the above disciplines, MBA, and/or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) will be an asset.
- 7-10 years’ relevant experience, including the most recent 3-4 years in the telecoms industry.
