Job Description
As Manager of Sales & Marketing, your key responsibilities are to architect and steer hotel sales and marketing strategies
into a new era of growth and innovation. This senior role demands a blend of visionary leadership, strategic marketing genius,
and sales expertise, poised to elevate our brand and drive revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a track record of crafting
winning strategies, inspiring teams, and forging solid relationships with customers and partners alike.
What you will be doing:
Oversee commercial strategies for the hotel by connecting strategy and business processes impacting all revenue streams, including Rooms, Catering, Food & Beverage, and Marketing.
Lead development and implementation of both short-term and long-term strategies across all sales, events, and marketing channels to achieve hotel’s revenue goals and increase market share.
Ensure pre-opening and Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies are in place with Commercial Leadership to maximize sales and catering opportunities.
Work with Brand e-Commerce teams to build B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and communications channels. Guide content accuracy and effectiveness online.
Develop and execute departmental expense budgets and forecasts.
Train and monitor sales, group, transient, and events contractual practices, uphold booking guidelines, and ensure use of booking platforms in line with company policies.
Lead, engage, and develop team members through performance and Career Development Plans.
Maintain high engagement with customers across all sales segments.
Qualifications
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of Hotel Sales, Catering, or Marketing Experience.
Management Experience (type): Manager.
Four-year college degree preferred.
Minimum Years of Leadership Experience in a Full-Service Hotel with minimum of 100 rooms.
Highly professional presentations and communication skills (oral and written).
Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software.
Ability to perform critical analysis.
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing, and communications.
Experience with business strategy, planning, and business plan development.
Experience in large matrix organizations.
Knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering Software or comparable products.
