Your Job Description

What you'll do

The Safety Task Force Project Manager (PM):

  • Takes under his/her responsibility the management of industrial projects related to Safety of Machineries in several ETEX factories, from the conceptual process design through detailed engineering to the execution and start-up.
  • Delivers the projects in scope, budget and quality, with a strong focus on Safety.
  • Defines project execution strategy.
  • Issues the specifications according to customer requirement, analyses suppliers offers, participates in the supplier selection and contracts preparation in close coordination with Purchasing Team.
  • Assesses and studies the different technical scenarios to define the most appropriate one, brings engineering expertise when needed to minimize risks and ensure safe design, checks compliance to established procedures or protocols, and challenges them.
  • Involves suppliers and plant team in detail engineering phases, safety design, factory acceptance tests, commissioning, and final acceptance tests.
  • Prepares steering committees for assigned projects.
  • Follows the construction on site with strong focus for EHS.
  • Ensures efficient project control and reporting, and takes corrective actions.
  • Ensures (technical and managerial) coordination and communication among the project stakeholders.

The Job Requirements

What you'll bring

  • Engineering Qualification
  • Minimum experience within the field of Engineering and Industrial Project Management (5 years)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Machine Functional Safety degree or course (CMSE® or equivalent)
  • CAD (Autocad®)
