Your Job Description
Operational Oversight & Efficiency
Oversee day-to-day operations including collection, sorting, processing, and waste disposal.
Coordinate smooth workflows across collection teams, sorting lines, and processing units.
Monitor production metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to increase output and reduce downtime.
Set up new centers in alignment with company standards and operational systems.
Promote sustainable practices that reduce the environmental footprint.
Team Leadership & Safety
Manage and support a team of supervisors, machine operators, and logistics personnel.
Provide training to improve staff performance, safety, and operational consistency.
Conduct regular safety checks and lead initiatives to minimize work-related accidents.
Ensure full compliance with local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Maintain strong relationships with waste collection partners, suppliers, and clients.
Liaise with government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with internal departments, finance, HR, sales, to align operations with company objectives.
Data & Reporting
Track and report on recycling output, inventory levels, and operational KPIs.
Maintain accurate operational records and present performance reports to senior management.
Use data insights to drive decisions that enhance sustainability and productivity.
The Job Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
You have 5–7 years of hands-on experience managing operations or supply chains, ideally in recycling, sustainability, or manufacturing.
Proven experience in operations management with a focus on sustainability or recycling.
Strong leadership, administrative, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with operations software is a plus.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
A genuine passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
