Member Engagement Manager
Contract: Fixed Term, 12 months, Full-Time

The Member Engagement Manager is accountable for developing and implementing plans designed to enhance member value and strengthen member engagement and advocacy.
The role has a growing focus on enhancing member value through partnerships and on creating and nurturing communities in line with ACCA’s strategic ambition.
The Job
Reports to: Country Head, Nigeria
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:
- Develop and execute member engagement plan for the country, with a view to maximizing member value, engagement and advocacy.
- Build and deliver a plan for the development of advocacy-driven member communities to support the delivery of ACCA’s global approach.
- Work with relevant internal stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes, KPIs, and targets.
- Actively manage relationships with influential members and advocates to maximize positive impact on ACCA’s business and reputation.
- Develop and implement local member initiatives as agreed, to build membership engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues locally and regionally to leverage global solutions and expertise.
- Support the development of member communities to enhance value and gather insights for improving value propositions.
- Work with colleagues to support and develop partner relationships that build member advocacy and drive mutual value.
- Support member advisory committee (if applicable), and help evolve networks and panels toward community- and advocacy-based approaches.
The Person
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrable commercial acumen across sales, brand management, and marketing.
- Experience building and sustaining effective relationships and communities.
- Background in managing senior stakeholder relationships.
- Understanding of the accounting and finance sector and current economic trends.
- Interest and knowledge in skills and career development landscapes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with confident and clear communication.
- Experience working with and managing volunteers.
- Experience with committees or panels may be required.
- Familiarity with MS Teams and social media platforms.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to meet deadlines and budgets.
