Job Description

  • Participate in the development of the overall reward strategy and plans.
  • Manage the annual reward review process including system enhancement and testing Data management.
  • Ensure quality input to the board on people related matters to enable deliberations at the right level and ultimately drive organisation behaviour and sustainable performance.
  • Drive the collection of all necessary macro-economic data and competitor information and make recommendations on salary increases for various businesses.
  • Manage the annual reward review process.
  • Ensure availability of market data for country and provide support with job matching and completing relevant surveys.
  • Build internal and external networks with Business unit partners, line managers and service providers, professional practice bodies and ensure relevance and credibility of the reward service provided.
  • Ensure the implementation of relevant reward governance frameworks.
  • Provide management support to the People & Culture function in the areas of people metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics.
  • Support other People & Culture Specialists by designing customized reports providing source data.
  • Drive the collection of the required data elements for employees in the talent pools. Review reports that indicate missing data and follow up with People & Culture Business Partners to obtain the data.
  • Present scorecards and reports to the Head People & Culture and on request, present the information to the Country Exco.
  • Create, maintain, and ensure quality assurance of key People & Culture data sets, reports, and metrics.
  • Extract and analyse data from HR systems, in order to inform decision making and fulfil statutory reporting obligations.

Qualifications

  • First degree in Accounting/Finance or any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 12 years cognate experience in managing total reward and working at a senior HR level.
  • Chartered member of ICAN/ACCA.
  • Experience leading and managing significant reward and performance related projects and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Significant experience in a reward specialist role, operating with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and expertise of best practice and current developments in reward, benefits and performance management, preferably within the financial service industry.
  • Experience effectively communicating reward and performance management frameworks to staff and other key stakeholders such as Senior Management Team.
