The HR Manager will establish and oversee all human resource functions for the new solar manufacturing plant, including recruitment, policy implementation, employee relations, and workforce planning.

Set up HR frameworks, policies, and procedures from scratch.
Lead recruitment for blue-collar and white-collar roles.
Drive employee onboarding, training, and development programs.
Manage payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems.
Foster positive employee relations and handle grievances.
Oversee compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Conduct performance appraisals and support career development.
Develop retention strategies to reduce turnover.
Monitor workforce productivity and propose improvement plans.
Ensure alignment of HR practices with business objectives.
Prepare HR reports and analytics for management.
Collaborate with management on strategic workforce planning.
The Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business, or related field.
5+ years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of Nigerian labor law.
Experience managing blue-collar workers.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office tools.
CIPM certification is an advantage.
Ability to work in a startup/greenfield environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
