Job Description

Glade is seeking an experienced Growth Marketing Lead, who brings a deep understanding of what it takes to operate a global growth organization (metrics, channels, audience, and budgets). Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager and partnering closely with the Marketing & Product teams, this person will lead our customer acquisition efforts across all existing and future international markets.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, so it would suit someone who is keen to be involved in the day-to-day while also being able to step back and look at the bigger picture. The successful candidate possesses a sharp growth mindset, is results-oriented, and works collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment. This person is also known for their ability to coach and manage a team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline to successfully meet revenue targets within the African market.
  • Develop and monitor Glade’s growth strategy for all stages in the funnel (marketing, sales, acquisitions), including defining a roadmap for each marketing channel and maintaining consistent sales activity year-round.
  • Oversee all online marketing efforts (SEM/SEO, social media, email, blogs, ads, traditional media) and offline marketing efforts (agency, terminals, business development-related events/functions, etc.).
  • Oversee and ensure an efficient customer onboarding process and handoff to the Customer Success team.
  • Develop a system to track conversion rates and measure progress against goals, constantly looking to eliminate bottlenecks, improve processes, and introduce creative ideas and solutions that are quickly tested and evaluated.
  • Manage the growth team (marketing & sales) to coordinate and execute the strategy, providing incentives and inspiration to keep them energized and motivated, as well as the structure and support needed to reach targets.
  • Provide customer insights to the larger team by blending data with a deep understanding of user needs, habits, and perceptions developed through targeted interviews, usability studies, and customer feedback as they relate to the African market.
  • Identify customer personas and translate outcomes into external messaging and communications.
  • Balance business goals and revenue targets with business outcomes and customer experience.
  • Communicate strategies and results to the team members and Glade’s leadership team on a consistent basis.
  • Experience using email marketing software and ad platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Business Suite.
  • Proven experience in scaling customer acquisition, activation, and retention while limiting costs and maximizing lifetime value.
  • Proven experience in tracking analytics and exceeding sales KPIs.
  • Ability to influence others with your outstanding communication skills and confidence in pitching to anyone in any situation.
  • Startup experience and/or entrepreneurial mindset.
  • 2-5 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or growth hacking.
