Your Job Description at WTS Energy
Manage the daily operations of an oil and gas fabrication yard, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and optimize commercial efficiencies within the yard.
Manage/supervise yard crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of facilities.
Manage production planning, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
Collaborate with project managers, supply chain, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of fabrication equipment with a view to timely scheduling of preventive maintenance and/or replacements to ensure uninterrupted production.
Ensure the fabrication yard is running as well as it possibly can, with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of the Company and the Client.
Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIRED
Experience with profit/loss accountability.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, standards, and industry best practices.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant engineering discipline from a reputable tertiary institution.
15-20 years oil and gas industry experience as a member of oil and gas fabrication yard management teams.
At least 5 years of proven experience as a Fabrication Yard Manager in oil and gas upstream industry with a contractor organization.
