Your Job Description
Is responsible for the site implementation of the yearly inspection programs related to equipment covered by the GS-OT-MIT-511 to ensure the physical integrity of the asset.
Is responsible for organizing & supervising the offshore painting and inspection activities involving permanent and ad hoc personnel to ensure full compliance with relevant Inspection Policy, Inspection Plan, Procedures, and HSE Standards.
Supervise the site activities of the offshore Inspection team (core crew and campaign teams), Corrosion support team, and the painting team assigned to the integrity management of the asset.
Collaborate with the DW Corrosion Engineer to conduct periodic audits of Painting activities on site to ensure good QA/QC of the process.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of specialist contractors mobilized for specific inspection activities to ensure timely completion and efficient reporting.
Trigger ad hoc unplanned Inspection activities related to any special event affecting any equipment covered by the GS-OT-MIT-511.
Bring to the attention of site management the status of plant equipment in relation to the Plant Integrity policy & GS-OT-MIT-511, which may affect the asset integrity with an impact on safety and the environment.
Report to the OIM the status/implementation of planned inspection programs and ad-hoc inspections with relevant findings.
Serve as a key inspection element in the integrity management of AKPO and fulfill the role of leadership for follow-up of Integrity corrective notifications.
Maintain the Register of site temporary repairs affecting equipment covered by the GS-OT-MIT-511.
Maintain the Asset Register of any equipment covered by the GS-OT-MIT-511 and periodically reconcile the registers with onshore registers.
Drive Inspection activities onsite and CLASS Society visits related to the classification (both HULL and Machinery) of the FPSO according to BV Class Rules.
Ensure that inspection activities are managed following the UNISOL/SAP Inspection Solution and all site inspection aspects of the Inspection cycle are well managed.
Validate all qualitative and quantitative site inspection results & recommendations before transmission to onshore and final upload in UNISUP/SAP.
Report to the Onshore Inspection team for all technical issues and provide technical support to onshore RBI Fame NEO engineer related to data collection & inspection findings.
Be the site focal point for all Site Inspection activities including subsea, topside, corrosion monitoring, lifting equipment campaign, etc.
Ensure that the site corrosion monitoring of Electrical Resistance, Cathodic protection are performed as planned and issue periodic reports.
Inform onshore inspection support of any change to be done in the inspection plan to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Be responsible for the site implementation of the yearly painting program.
Provide technical assistance for the certification of equipment on AKPO - Lifting equipment, cranes, PSV’s, gas cylinders, etc.
Establish close working relations with other Field Operations staff including Marine, HSE, and Production in relation to the implementation of Inspection programs on AKPO.
Provide technical assistance and support to various site users about corrosion control, welding techniques, and other technical matters.
The Job Requirements
BSC or equivalent with minimum of 10 years’ experience in inspection operational activities in oil and gas industries, including 3 years in a supervisory position.
Good knowledge of NDT testing techniques and oilfields international standards - API 510, API 570, etc.
Experience in Corrosion mechanisms and monitoring techniques applied in oil and gas industry
Knowledge of Cathodic protection, Lifting equipment inspection, pressure vessels, piping, structures, and pressure-relieving devices
Knowledge in construction, metallurgy, quality control in welding
Knowledge of hull and machinery marine classified items
Trained on UNISUP/SAP/COMPANY Inspection Solution and Basic knowledge of COMPANY FAME + RBI
Good spoken and written knowledge of English language
