The Cost Advisor will be responsible for tasks related to cost control, preparation of budgets for capital projects, cost management, cost planning, negotiation, project planning and project cost reporting. This will involve liaison with the Project Office, Bids and Contract Management team and other business functions.

Procurement strategy development and drafting pricing mechanisms
Preparation of detailed Bill of Quantities
Measurement, extraction of quantities from working drawings, and cost analyses
Supervising projects and physical measurements on-site
Preparation of interim valuation for stage payment
Preparation of Bill of Materials
Preparation of Basis of Measurement
Measurement of quantities from working drawings
Physical measurement on site
Create budgets using contract pricing and review pricing and engineering data
Provide raw material forecasts and cost analysis to management
Requirements
Education
A degree or its equivalent with a minimum of a 2.2 in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience
5-7 years of experience in cost control, cost estimating, or project finance based roles.
