Purpose of the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Manager with expertise in analytics and data engineering to lead the design, implementation, and management of data systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data integrity, optimizing data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization.

What you’ll do
Data Management
- Conduct spatial analysis and develop geospatial models.
- Oversee data collection, storage, and retrieval processes.
- Develop and enforce data management policies.
- Manage data governance initiatives for compliance.
- Design and implement advanced analytics solutions.
Data Engineering
- Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines.
- Optimize data architecture and workflows.
- Work with cloud-based data platforms.
- Implement data quality frameworks.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and engineers.
- Coordinate with IT, business development, and partners.
- Provide training and support on data tools and best practices.
Who you are
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geoinformatics, Statistics, Geomatics, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years experience as a Data Analyst or GIS Analyst.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as R, Python, or SAS.
- Expertise in SQL and database systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, Databricks, and ETL processes.
- Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
Certifications and Licenses
- Certification in cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience in AI/ML models.
- Data Science Certification.
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) - Optional.
